   In late 2010 Thor Motor Coach was formed through the strategic merger of Damon Motor Coach and Four Winds International.  Both Damon and Four Winds were wholly owned subsidiaries of Thor Industries.  For nearly 25 years Damon and Four Winds had been building many of the most recognizable motorhomes in the RV industry including: ACE, Daybreak, Challenger, Astoria, Tuscany, Avanti, Outlaw, Chateau and Chateau Citation among others.  

Thor Motor Coach manufacturers strictly motohomes encompassing Class A Gas, Class A Diesel, Class C and Class B+ Plus Motorhomes.  Chateau and Chateau Citation are brands within the Thor Motor Coach family.

Thor Motor Coach and its predecessors have always developed new and unique floor plans.  The Daybreak introduced the industry to the first motorized bunk model.  The Tuscany was the first 5 slideout diesel motorhome produced and the Tuscany was the first motorhome to have a front kitchen.  The Outlaw was the first ever motorized Toy Hauler.

 		If you prefer to travel in a van-style motorhome, also known as a Class B, we recommend you carefully consider the Canadian designed and built Pleasure-Way.  In our opinion, you will not find a better constructed Class B anywhere.  They command over 50% of the Class B market.
