To All Employees,

This is a note to tell all how much we have enjoyed our 6 years and two motor homes. You never treated us like customers, more like family from Paul who knows more about motor homes than anyone else we know to Hiedi and Tom. Special thanks to Les and Lauire in Rentals and to Mike who sold our motor home in about 3 days also the sales personnel.

The sad part of selling is not seeing you all. We are going to try owning a home in Mississippi, if it does not work out we will be back to buy again - never would we buy anywhere else but The Hitch House.

All our love,

Betty and John Dilkes

Here is what some of our
customers had to say about us.

Dave Swibb & Marilyn Romagnoli

Hey Big Al !!!

We're in Parksville, Vancouver Island at a beautiful resort with clubhouses, pool, hot tub, everything you could want for the winter except palm trees, sun and high temperatures. Who am I kiddding? I want the last three. But we are settled in and we have had quite a few sunny days in a row. In all, this place gets no snow and there are plenty of places to go and lots to see. One would believe that the Surfside RV Resort was developed by Americans by it's appearance. Beautifully landscaped with paved roads, concrete and interlocking sites. We look right out our front windshield at the Georgia Strait just 20 feet away with Killer Whales and seals.

The coach perfomed perfectly all across the U.S. You were right, Al. This buggy can flatten the Rockies like you wouldn't believe. We cruised along Interstate 90 without a single problem. The toughest part of the trip was crossing the Columbia River region outside Spokane, Washington. We had a cross-head wind of about 50 to 60 mph steady! The old girl handled the wind and the uphill with little effort. Most C classes and gas A classes and fifth wheels pulled over along the way but we just kept truckin' along. The big awning started to flap a little so I pulled into the first service station and tucked in behing the building long enough to unfurl and refurl the awning. I tied it off on both ends and it was fine for the duration of the trip.

Marilyn & I both love it out here now that we have decided not to travel in the States for awhile. The dollar is so bad and the political and economic climates are not what we are looking for right now. We're joining the Schooner Cove Yacht Club tonight as we are being sponsored by friends we sailed with on Lake Ontario. They now live full time in Nanoose Bay outside Nanaimo. They might have an easy time convincing us to stay out here for a year ot two. We get a lot of looks at the coach since it is the biggest one in the resort and in any other resorts we've looked in. She sure looks good, Al. We're very happy with her and the great service we get from all the folks in Barrie. We always talk you guys up wherever we go.

Say Hi to everyone at The Hitch House and we hope you don't get too much snow (unless you ski...).

Havin' a Ball !!!!
