Our first building begins!!!

Two weeks ago we received building approval for a 2,500 sq. ft. storage facility to be built near the northwest corner of our property. Construction started on January 29th. Our general contractor, Don Eagles of Eagles Building & Construction, expects it to be completed by the end of March. This facility will allow us to free up space in our 10,000 sq. ft. service centre that is currently being used for Parts & Accessory storage.

Housed in our main facility was our Control Tower. A Control Tower is where the work orders are reviewed and allocated to technicians. The Tower Operator provides technical support, communicates with the Service Advisors, updates work orders, and assists the technicians and installers. The Control Tower is a hub and critical to the operation of a service department. Our original Control Tower was destroyed in the fire. Since the fire our Control Tower has been rather limited due to the lack of available space. By freeing up an area that was dedicated to Parts' & Accessory storage we will be able to accommodate our Control Tower and much needed office space. The new Control Tower will allow us to efficiently manage our service demand when the spring rush arrives and provide our service management team with a real, permanent work space solution.

AND YES IT'S TRUE!!! The "Johnny on the Spots" have been officially replaced. We are exceptionally proud to announce that we have real restrooms. Our staff and customers could not be happier with this improvement.

The past six weeks have been very full. We have been touring different service facilities looking for ideas, equipment and meeting with dealer principles from automotive dealers in order to incorporate improvements that will enhance our service levels and efficiencies.
