In Full Swing...

Our new Storage Facility (Building S) is now complete. We have had occupancy for nearly a month! The property leading up to the new building was paved earlier this week. Thanks to Gerald Sullivan and his team from K. J. Beamish Construction Co., Limited for their attention to detail, timely execution and professionalism during the paving.Since we broke ground on our new headquarters the weather has not been overly cooperative. Steve McCutcheon, our site supervisor, and Dan Leal Construction have been proactive and diligent in handling the water due to the recent rain storms. Our footings are complete and approximately 90% of the foundation walls are in. The cement block wall that will separate our new Motorhome Showroom from our new Parts' & Accessories store is in place to the second floor level. This wall will support a portion of the second floor. Further masonry construction is underway including stairwells, bearing walls and fire walls. In the upcoming weeks, we will be receiving the structural steel that will comprise the super structure of our building as well as the hollow core slabs that will form the second floor. The entire Hitch House team is buoyed by the progress of the construction and excited for what is to come.
