RICHARD CLEAVER - RV CASTAWAYS

A long, long time ago, Richard had a dream to take his guitar and hit the road. After thirty-five years as a senior Information Technology executive with London Life, Bank of Montreal and Empire Life, Richard finally retired and made his dream come true. He and his wife and their golden retriever have hit the road. Not only has Richard taken his guitar, but he brought along a few other things as well.

Curious? Well, you cannot retire from something. You have to retire to something. And those dreams of yours can still come true. The gift of retirement is time. Time to deepen relationships with family and friends. Time to discover, or rediscover, your passions in life.

Aside from his many accomplishments in the business world, Richard has a passion to learn and to explore. The RV lifestyle provides so many amazing opportunities to do both. Richard and Lorraine travel full-time in their beautiful Newmar Dutch Star, a coach that they ordered from the Hitch House back in October of 2015.

Richard fills his days with family and friends, music, blogging, investments, audio engineering, photography, cycling, fitness, flight simulation and reading. He loves to share his passions and hopes to inspire others to follow their dreams.
